Video is King

We live in the social media era, it’s a matter of fact.

almost every day there is a new idea or tool trying to integrate to the big thing, but when it comes from the leading professional community for video sharing it’s different.

Although Vimeo is still way behind youtube, there is no doubt that it’s one of the most successful platforms for the last couple of years with over 50 million creators and brands,  make no surprise that Vimeo wants a slice from the pie,

Recently they introduced a new features for Vimeo business which works for any size of a business, and that’s a big change in the core values of its existing, instead of targeting professional people who mostly work in the production industry, they are approaching a new and wider target audience with different tools.

(Video that do more), a tagline and call for action inviting almost every business in the world to join, a smart one, since video create more engagement generally than a still image.

What makes Vimeo business unique and different is the engagements tool they highlighted clearly in their campaign, (tools that engage customers and grow a business).

It allows brands to generate leads and drive conversions by using video cards and embedding videos anywhere, clickable calls to action, capturing email addresses and sync them with email marketing software.

Also to show detailed and trusted analysis, Vimeo partnered with Google Analytics to track engagements like views, impressions and where they come from.

Vimeo integrated with Adobe, mail shrimp, campaign monitor, infusion one of the leading automation software for small business to get a better reach for a specific category.

I think Vimeo knew very well that brands and creators need more than one channel to reach the audience, in one-word diversity, and it seems that we are noticing a change not only in consumers behaviors but more into corporate redirection towards social media platforms, and it’s only the beginning.
